Upcoming Clinic Dates
P.E.T.S. is open every Tuesday and Wednesday for surgery. Appointments are required for surgery and drop off is between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
Walk-ins are welcome every Tuesday and Wednesday from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for nonsurgical services such as vaccines and heartworm testing. No appointment is necessary. For your convenience we are also open for walk-ins the 3rd Saturday of every month from noon to 4 p.m.
2011 P.E.T.S. Partners
In the past, P.E.T.S.' Fur-Raising and Grazing Event has met our fundraising goals for each year. This year we wanted to try something different. Instead of Fur-Raiser Sponsors, we are gathering Clinic Partners that have generously agreed to sponsor our clinic for 2011. Their donations will be immediatley placed in our Care Fund which goes directly to the animals. It helps maintain our financial assistance options in between grant cycles and funds our non-surgical programs like the Hounds Habitat Project.
In addition to our Clinic Partners, we will be hosting 4 raffles this year so please buy a ticket and help us keep helping the animals in our community. Tickets are only $10.00 and will be sold by our devoted volunteers and staff. You can also call (940) 723-7387 for your chance to win.

Thanks to P.E.T.S., Wichita County sees dramatic reduction in unwanted pets
The numbers are in! P.E.T.S. is thrilled to announce that our hard work and dedication over the past five years have resulted in an incredible reduction in the number of unwanted animals taken in by the Wichita County Humane Society and Animal Services Center. Intake at the at both facilities is down almost 50% from before P.E.T.S. opened in 2006. Rates of euthanasia of unwanted animals in our area are down 34% -- P.E.T.S. truly is Preventing Euthanasia Through Sterilization! Thank you to everyone in our community who has helped to make this possible. A special thanks to HSWC and ASC for raising adoption efforts and using rescue groups to save animals. Together, we are making Wichita County a better place for pets!
